Day 8 of the 31 Days of Candy is here, and it’s the start of another week of candy crochet patterns. My week is off to a shaky start, because I am sick. I had a weekend filled with celebrations for my upcoming wedding, which was super fun, but then I came back home feeling like I have the flu. Oh dear! Thankfully, today I’m sharing a candy that I absolutely love: caramel. I don’t know about you, but caramel has to be one of my all time favorite things. The first time I ever tried caramel, I was in love. The sweet caramel flavors always melt in your mouth and create this delicious hug of sweetness. I could put caramel on any dessert: apple pie, Oreos, cake, you name it I want caramel on it. I love it so much that I wanted to make sure that I made a crocheted version of it!
I used one of my all time favorite yarns to make this caramel: Lion Brand Jeans. There is something amazing and magical about the softness of this yarn. If you’ve never tried it before, then this is a great easy project to introduce it to you! This pattern is crocheted in continuous rounds using single crochets, which gives it an easy pattern that works up in no time at all. Let’s get started!
