V’s and T’s Wristlets: Free Crochet Fingerless Glove Pattern

With fall almost upon us, that means that it’s time to break out all of your favorite crochet accessory patterns, and begin working on new ones! One of my must have accessories, is crochet mittens and crochet gloves. I get such cold fingers and hands, that I always need something extra to make sure that they stay warm. If you’re in need for a brand new free crochet fingerless glove pattern, then you are going to love this latest guest blogger pattern the V’s and T’s Wristlets!

Designed by The Wool Flower Co, this boho crochet glove pattern adds a bohemian flare to the usual fingerless glove. From fair fur fringe, textured puff stitches, and changing colors, these are not your typical crochet mittens! Even if you’re a beginner crocheter, you can totally make these! They have a simple construction of being made in the round, and use easy crochet stitches. It’s a great easy and quick crochet glove pattern!

So with that intro, I’ll go ahead and hand it off to Shannon, and she can share her pattern with you!

About The Wool Flower Co

I’m Shannon-Jaide a 25 year old, self-taught crocheter and boho pattern designer from London, England. I strongly believes in the mantra, “Every cloud has a silver lining.” I first learnt to crochet back in 2015 after suffering complications from an operation which left me unable to return to work as a nursery teacher. I was “hooked” from the beginning; making scarves and matching bows at every opportunity.

In 2017, after much encouragement from friends and family, I created The Wool Flower Co after becoming disabled. I’m now a Chronic pain, fibromyalgia and Joint Hypermobility Syndrome sufferer, but I use my pain to fuel my passion for crochet through garment and accessory designing. To me, craft really is therapy.

About the Pattern

The Vs & Ts Wristlets are full of texture and whimsicality and were designed to match the first beanie pattern I designed that bares the same name. They’re a fast, easy and advanced beginner friendly project that also aids you in stash-busting!

A pair of these cosy wristlets can be made in around 30-45 minutes and use chunky weight yarn (or two strands of worsted). The pattern is a simple repeat, that you can complete whilst watching your favourite show, snuggled under your blanket.

The Yarn

To make these gloves, you can use your favorite bulky weight 5 yarn to make it. Some of my favorites are: Lion Brand Color Made Easy, We Crochet Brava Bulky, We Crochet Swish Bulky, or We Crochet Biggs yarn. You could even use two strands of worsted weight yarn held together to make your own custom bulky weight yarn. It’s such a versatile pattern that you can find just the right yarn that works for you.
