One of my most favorite memories of the Christmas season is making homemade Christmas cookies with my mom and sister in all sorts of shapes and sizes, with brightly colored frosting smeared across our faces from “testing” it out. A lot of times we’d eat so much of the cookie dough we’d made that we would never have any leftover bits from rolling out the cookies. All of those memories inspired this design in my Christmas collection: my Snowflake Sugar Cookie Ornament.
I love getting to make small and special Christmas decorations that I’ll get to use on my tree every year. My family always gets a new ornament every year to commemorate something that happened for us during the year. This one celebrates my love of baking and start of my new business! I’m so happy I get to share it with you too. This project is so simple and quick that you can whip one up in less than a half hour! Now that’s a quick crochet project that I like. This has been one of my favorite design themes this year, and has inspired me to make 2 other sugar cookie designs!
Premier Yarn’s everyday yarn is perfect for this sweet and easy crocheted sugar cookie. The yarn is soft, and wonderful to work with, and I love getting to make a bunch of these ornaments with it! As a special Christmas treat to my followers, Premier Yarn is giving you 10% off of all of your online orders using the code EM10%. So feel free to treat yourself to some yarn as a special Christmas gift from us!
