How to Make the Hop Into Spring Granny Square Blanket
This blanket pattern is made from easy solid granny squares with appliques sewn onto them. The granny squares are made in multiple colors to give the style of a patchwork blanket. I made my granny squares in six different colors with five being different pastel colors, and then a neutral color for the in between squares.
After you’ve crocheted all of the solid granny squares, the next step is to crochet the appliques. There are 5 different appliques: a butterfly, tulip, bunny, daisy, and carrot. Each crochet applique pattern includes a video tutorial to walk you through it.
This pattern includes video tutorials for each part, so if this is your first granny square or applique blanket, it will be nice and easy for you!
